Opening hours
The Dinopark is open daily from 9 March to 3 November 2024 from 9 am to 6 pm. Also on Sundays and public holidays!
You can bring your dogs free with you. However, you must keep your dog on a lead and carry a doggy bag. In addition, our parking areas and camper van sites are available to day guests free of charge.

Arrival by car
From the north, from the direction of Hamburg
Coming from Hamburg (A7) exit Schwarmstedt, then take the B214 towards Nienburg, exit Steimbke / to the B6, continue towards Husum - Rehburg-Loccum.
From the east, from the direction of Hanover
You can reach us via the A2 towards Dortmund, exit Wunstorf / Luthe, then on the B441 via Wunstorf / towards Stolzenau. The B441 leads directly through Münchehagen.
From the south, from the direction of Göttingen
Coming from Göttingen (A7), take the Autobahn junction 57, Hannover-Ost, onto the A2 towards Dortmund, exit Wunstorf / Luthe, then take the B441 via Wunstorf / towards Stolzenau. The B441 leads directly through Münchehagen.
From the west, from the direction of Osnabrück, Dortmund
From the A2, take the Porta Westfalica exit, then the B482 towards Minden-Nienburg as far as the Loccum Steinhuder Meer exit.

Directions by public transportation
You can reach us with the Deutsche Bahn, station Wunstorf. Take bus number 715 to Wiedenbrügge, then continue with bus number 716 to “Eingang Saurierpark” (during the vacation season) and otherwise to Hauptstraße, “Abzweig Saurierpark” (approx. 500 m on foot).
From April 1, Regiobus line 835 runs at weekends and on public holidays from Neustadt a. Rbg. and from Wunstorf and circles the Steinhuder Meer in both directions. The bus also runs daily during the summer vacations. The ‘Saurierpark’ bus stop is located directly at the main entrance.

Our gastronomy
In addition to our catering facilities, we have placed ice cream and drinks vending machines for you at various locations in the park. Here you can get a quick and tasty refreshment.
Eating in the countryside: your snack bar with fun and games for the family
In our fast food restaurants, we offer you a large selection of hot and cold food and drinks as well as ice cream and coffee.
Our sun terrace with a view is located above a natural pond with its various living inhabitants (turtles, ducks, fish) and the “Giants of the Seas” exhibition.
Right next door is our adventure playground for little dinosaur explorers, so that mom & dad can relax in peace and quiet while the kids have lots of fun in the playground.
Picnic among dinosaurs
Picnic in the dinosaur park? No problem: you’ll find plenty of great picnic and relaxation areas throughout the park. You can eat your own picnic here. The seats on the terraces are reserved for our catering guests.
Dinosaur store: Discover over 1,000 dinosaur articles and real fossils!
In our store in the entrance and exit area you will find over 1,000 dinosaur-related items as well as beautiful fossils and minerals. Come and browse and find find exclusive dinosaur models, cute cuddly toys, cool dinosaur textiles and really great accessories. For fossil collectors, we offer a large selection of real dinosaur fossils.
